In this vital role you will function as an architect & tech lead, this position will play a transformational role that will help Amgen move from a project-based approach to a modern product led approach. The role will develop the strategy and framework and be a liaison between Amgen's business and IT product teams to help with enablement, adoption and alignment with Amgen's technical products and platforms. This role will lead a team of other analysts and engineers to work as part of the dedicated patient services team to develop products in .Net, MS SQL server and provide technical expertise to Business Analysts, .Net/SQL developers, and product owners to promote reuse the patient support services product. This role will be the face of DTI and the technology subject matter expert to the business teams and will be accountable for technology projects related to all patient hub touch points and own the long-term technology strategy for the systems that support our patient hub ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement and support highly scalable dot net applications and integration with APIs using Microsoft technologies (ASP.NET, C#, MVC, WCF, SQL Server, Windows Forms, Web API/Rest API). Lead project estimations, system architecture and performance engineering of projects. Introduce process improvements and development standards Adhere to accurate design principles for projects and frameworks Support software engineers on the team with guidance, experience, oversight, advice and code reviews. Work with the quality assurance team to ensure the software is fully tested and passes quality requirements Delegating work and assignments to team members Collaborating with team to identify and fix technical problems Analyzing users'/brand teams' needs and ensuring quality solution delivery Supervising system modifications Conducting security audits to identify areas of improvement Collaborate with cross-functional teams and highlight risks/dependencies as applicable Clearly and effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders Skilled in communicating sophisticated solutions to stakeholders, in a way that non-technical stakeholders would understand Take the initiative in thought leadership, innovation and creativity Win What we expect of you We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. Qualifications:
Doctorate degree OR Master's degree and 6
years of development experience building enterprise software or platforms OR Bachelor's degree and 8
years of development experience building enterprise software or platforms Preferred
Qualifications:
.Net/.Net Core C# experience of 6
years Rest Services and Oracle/SQL Shell scripting/Python and CI/CD practices .Net 3.5 or later! Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) Designing relational databases. Proficient in in SQL and stored procedure/function development. Team player with the mindset of getting things done through collaboration Proven experience leading an Agile team. Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Self-driven, flexible, and innovative.
