Medicare ADR / Appeals Nurse Assists with Medicare Additional Development Requests (ADRs) and Appeals by performing detailed medical record review to identify and facilitate correction of deficiencies.
Authors accurate, detailed cover letters in support of the agency's Medicare Additional Development Requests (ADRs) and Appeals for all lines of business.
Assists with case preparation for Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) Hearings as requested.
Prepares and analyzes appropriate statistical, performance improvement, risk management, safety, patient satisfaction, and infection control data as requested for Committees and members of the agency's leadership team.
Prepares an annual PAC PowerPoint presentation summarizing performance improvement, risk management, and infection control data for all lines of business.
Collects, analyzes, documents, and disseminates findings on quarterly PIP data for all lines of business.
Who you are:
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse or License Vocational Nurse in the State of California At least 3 years of experience in quality, performance improvement, and compliance within Hospice, acute-care hospital, inpatient or outpatient rehabilitation, and/or health care insurance setting.
