Job Description:
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic.
You will work closely with our dentists and dental hygienists to provide top-notch dental care to our patients.
Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including cleanings, fillings, veneers, crowns, inlays, implants, tissue grafts, and extractions.
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
Take dental X-rays.
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with office tasks, including scheduling appointments and billing.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
Ensure a clean and organized dental workspace.
Assist with infection control procedures and maintain compliance with all OSHA and dental board regulations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of an accredited dental assistant program or equivalent on-the-job training.
CPR certification.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to patient comfort and care.
Knowledge of Open Dental is a plus.
