Job Description:
Case Manager/Counselor Reports to:
Clinical Director Supervises:
N/A Minimum Requirements:
At least 1 year of addiction treatment work.
Certification Counselor or currently getting hours to become fully certified through CCAPP or CAADE Understand of State regulations, policy and procedures Willingness to work a flexible schedule and to fill in when needed Excellent communication skills Working knowledge of health care laws and regulations, including The Joint Commission Up to date CPR, First Aid and TB Test to be completed not more than 60 days prior or 7 days after employment and every year thereafter.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Guiding clients with step by step instructions, and staying connected and linked to clients until goals are completed, as an adjunct to the program.
Able to run groups, when needed.

Responsibilities:
Meet with clients to discuss needs and goals Develop strategies and plans for residents Keep records of clients progress Meet with and evaluate clients Always maintain professional boundaries with clients Exceptional customer service and decision-making skills Strong time management skills Passion for our industry, and solid relationships with network of colleagues Ability to develop strong relationships and work with management Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including report writing Exceptional judgment, crisis management, logistical awareness, and decision- making skills Skilled in Motivational Interviewing techniques Job Type:
