You will review individual tax returns prepared by CPA's and Enrolled Agents.
This includes reviewing all tax documents and scanning to document management software.
No experience is necessary.
We will train on site.
This is a seasonal job for the 2023 tax season through April 15, 2024 with the possibility of permanent part-time.
Hours are flexible.
Office hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, with the possibility of some Saturdays.
Proficiency in computer programs, such as Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
Ability to learn a myriad of other software programs.
Using office equipment such as copiers and scanners.
Ability to use 10-key adding machine is a plus.
Having basic mathematical skills Handling sensitive and confidential information properly A high attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are essential Prior experience in a tax preparation office is a plus Accounting and/or bookkeeping education is a plus This Job Description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of this position.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
