Location: Plano, TX or home based within the US

SAS Consultant is required by our client, a leading and industry respected IT Services provider. Working on a consultancy basis with clients across the US this role will see you undertake a variety of challenging tasks including developing, presenting and demonstrating solutions to prospective customers based on detailed customer requirements to highlight SAS broad solution areas with emphasis on SAS key differentiators to both technical and non-technical audience. It will also include the installation and support of SAS software products, specific SAS methodologies for customer trials, proof of concepts and project implementations and more.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS
o Superior knowledge of SAS products, peripheral technologies and implementation best practices for designing complex, multi-solution architectures
o Specialized in specific technical area such as security, data management, system integration, business intelligence and/or reporting and Analytics
o Minimum 5 years of experience working with SAS Software with increasing levels of responsibility
o Familiarity with SAS product architectural design issues and tradeoffs
o Strong understanding of SAS technology solutions and direction
o Strong verbal and written communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
o Minimum B.S. Degree (for US) or equivalent experience
o Consulting skills a plus
o Proven analytical, time-management, and problem solving skills
o Strong relationship building skills and overall comprehension of sales cycle
o Desire to work in a fast paced dynamic environment
o Strong presentation skills
