POSITION SUMMARY

Truly global specialized chemical coating company seeking a field Project Manager to manage multiple maintenance activities in refineries, chemical processing facilities, and coal-fired power generation facilities worldwide. This position is responsible for overall project planning, including manpower planning up to a workforce of up to a staff of 60, managing and directing the materials and equipment resources for each project assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures compliance to all Health and Safety regulations on all sites.

Manages overall project planning including manpower/labor, material and equipment resources to meet project and customer needs.

Direct the activities for each job, including managing the hiring of the workforce, overseeing training and safety to ensure high quality of service, and maintain documentation as it pertains to each of these areas.

Interact with customer site management attending meetings, providing updates, reviewing current activities and future plans.

Assess and implement efficient coating services.

Works closely with the Operations Director and project supervisors to provide accurate forecasting and job costing for projects.

Audit projects to ensure compliance to standard policies, work procedures and competencies.

Coordinate payroll and provide reporting as required.

May be required to assist with set up of local purchasing of tools, equipment and supplies. Interact with global logistics team to coordinate activities.

QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES)

Must have project management skills
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of Safety and Environmental requirements for each project and works with Global Safety team to ensure proper training of team members on requirements in each particular Global region.
Must be knowledgeable of principles and practices of facilities' operations and maintenance within the industries.
Knowledge of applicable laws, rules and regulations as they apply to the industry.
Must be able to lead and direct a team.
Be able to read and interpret maps, plats, charts, plans, blueprints and/or schematics.
Computer skills, Microsoft Office; Excel, MSP and SalesLogix.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree preferred with 10 years' experience in project management, preferably in the refining or chemicals processing industries.
Minimum 10 years supervisory experience
Proficient in all MS Office applications along with Internet , Intranet and email systems
Experienced in all facets of project/manpower management including training, coaching, directing, accountability, and discipline.


WORKING CONDITIONS (ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS) - Must be physically able to work in customer locations which require long periods sitting during travel by airplane and/or motor vehicle. Willing and able to travel globally up to 60% of work year, Able to withstand exposure to extreme heat and high ambient temperatures, Able to climb up to 8 -10 Meters in height, Able to withstand exposure in Confined Space work locationsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
