Head of Sales - USA

Our client is a leading provider of innovative secure electronic payment hardware. Their core competency is the design, certification and manufacture of industry certified hardware. They partner with Independent Software Vendors and Systems Integrators to provide rich and flexible payment solutions for retail, hospitality, financial, government and healthcare vertical markets globally.
The successful candidate will head up and be our client's main representative with full responsibility for Sales across the designated USA sales region, both direct and via partners/ resellers.You must already be based in the USA.
Key responsibilities:
o Create a go-to-market strategy for each of the key regions.
o To identify, research and develop opportunities with customers new to our client with both direct sales and resellers/partnership sales.
o Drive sales across the region, to achieve the pre-defined targets
o To accurately track and forecast revenue in line with company expectations
o To manage a high level of satisfaction with your customers and partner-base
o Drive market awareness campaigns to develop a pipeline.
o Create accurate reports and forecasts for your territory
o Report to the Sales Director
Key skills required for this role include:
o 10+ years Relevant industry experience in POS or mPOS sales
o A clear track history of successful sales within your allocated Sales region
o Experience in formulating and driving long-term strategic account plans and roadmaps.
o Organisational skills including scheduling, meeting administration and attention to detail
o Communication skills and proven experience in managing client relationships
o Process driven, focused with a good consultative style of selling
o Numerate & Literate
o Strong proposal writing & presentation skills
o A degree preferably in Business Studies
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a successful sales history in POS or mPOS sales, you will be an adept and proactive communicator with a drive and a passion to succeed. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
